' Troponin has become an integral part in the diagnosis of an acute myocardial infarction. Troponin elevation above the 99% along with the rise and fall is required for diagnosing STEMI.'


'We have to also understand what situations or scenarios where patient have Troponin elevations, but they do not have a myocardial infarction.'

'Registries are very important as we are on the process of setting up STEMI networks, you can collect the information, and monitor what you are doing.'


'STEMI processes of care in India I think it has to go hand and hand with having registries. We are able to affect patient’s outcomes by offering pharmacoinvasive or primary PCI.'
